 I
have wanted to start my own business for many years. Once
I discovered photography as a profession, I knew that a
portrait studio was the perfect fit for me. With the experience
of photographing a few weddings, as well as plenty of other
subjects at Sears Portrait Studio and JC Penny Portrait
Studio, and facing the decision as to whether to go back
to work or not at the end of my maternity leave ~ I decided
to take the plunge.
So here I am. My goal with this new business is to change the idea of what a portrait studio should be. A few rules I work by: * Photographers should be seen and not heard. We try to stay out of the way. This is your day, not ours. * Portraits are a custom order work of art. Portraits should reflect the personality of the individual(s) photographed. The subjects photographed should not be made to fit into a pre-fit pose or idea. * Portraits are to be enjoyed not dreaded. During the photography session, I try to make it as stress free as possible. If you need it done, I will do it - or find someone who can, and maybe even save you a few bucks in the process. I pride myself on my quick responses to customer requests, and my competitive prices. If there is something you need that you don't see on my site, don't hesitate to ask! I am constantly looking for new ideas, so suggestions are always welcome. - Toni
